Office of Controller of Examinations
The Office of the Controller of Examinations (COE) at Kathir College of Engineering plays a key role in managing all examination-related activities across various programs. Its responsibilities ensure that the examination processes are transparent, efficient, and aligned with academic regulations. Below are the main functions of the office:
Managing internal assessments for all courses in all programs, ensuring fair evaluation of students.
Overseeing the organization and conduct of both theory and practical exams for end-of-semester assessments.
Responsible for the evaluation and grading of end-semester theory answer scripts.
Convening meetings to address and resolve examination-related issues among faculty, staff, and administration.
Managing the processing of results, publishing them on time, and issuing grade sheets to students.
Recommending students for the award of degrees in accordance with Anna University’s guidelines.
Addressing grievances related to examinations from administration, faculty, staff, and students in a fair and timely manner.
